ANYTHING and EVERYTHING except disco. I have close to 30,000 songs in my library. I am a music freak.

“The Demon Haunted World”-Carl Sagan. “A Man Without a County” – Kurt Vonnegut. “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them”-Al Franken.

Favorite Comedians?
George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher. South Park (Matt & Trey).
 
Hobbies?
6 and 12 string acoustic guitar. 6 string electric. Keyboards. Bass Guitar. (Editors note: no rock star will ever lose his job because of me)
Raising my son to be an exceptional human being. 

Pets?
My 8-year-old son. Imagine a 4’ 6” 80-pound monkey flying through the air. Now, imagine the monkey lands on you. Now, imagine me on the floor in pain. Limit 3 mammals per household please.
What I wanted to be when I grew up?
The voice on the radio. Later on, Mr. Farrah Fawcett.
Favorite Food?
Asian.

Most Interesting Radio Memory?
Sophomore year in high school. Working the Monday through Friday, Midnight to 6 AM shift on the radio. Taking a shower at the station and then going to class for some much needed sleep. 
Odd Habits?
Reading books. Pondering the Universe. Writing my elected officials and voting with the expectation that things will actually change.
What are you known best for?
Arguing about politics and religion.
 
Favorite Thing to do on a Saturday Night?
Hanging out with my wife and kid. 
If you could change one thing about yourself, the station or the world, what would you change?
The obvious Mother Teresa stuff. What else could you do with such a wish?

Radio Experience?
18 years. I must be aging. That explains the frequent urge to nap.

Favorite Movie?
There are so many. Easy Rider, Henry and June, Fear and Loathing, Monty Python Search for the Holy Grail. Eternal Sunshine, Seven, 12 Monkeys, The Matrix. Woody Allen, Stephen Spielberg, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola. I could go on, but I won’t.
Favorite Actor, Actress?
Johnny Depp, Sean Penn, William H. Macy. Kate Winslett, Jennifer Jason-Leigh, Gwyneth Coldplay.
Most Embarrassing Moment?
Most of my life is an embarrassing moment.

What I wanted to be when I grew up?
A radio DJ. At age 6 my dad told me that I would be a doctor. I told him, ‘No, I am going to be a DJ.’ I knew back then.

Favorite Life Memory?
Live Aid Concert, Philadelphia, July 13, 1985. You can’t listen for more than 20 minutes on Rock 101 without hearing a band that I saw live that day. Zeppelin reunited that day, as did CSNY. As Joan Baez said, that was my Woodstock. Thank you Bob for the tickets!
What are you known best for?
Inventing the square wheel.
