THE BEACH BALL
This unique event is August 23rd, 2008 at the private home of Marylou and Pat Hartness. Their Estate is located at 300 Smith Road, off of Pelham Road in Greenville. Gates open at 7pm. Early arriving Sponsors will enjoy a Private Champagne reception hosted by the Hartness'.
The Beach Ball Foundation is a well-respected charity as evidenced by it's continued growth and increasing community support. An all- volunteer driven organization, The Beach Ball Foundation was founded 3 years ago. In that short time, The BBF has grown to serve 26 non-profit Organizations and Agency's dedicated to helping children.
Our contribution to the community has grown from $20,000 to $50,000 and exploded to an amazing $183,000 in 2007!
Financially overseen by the state of South Carolina's largest accounting firm, Elliott Davis LLC, this registered 501(c)(3) has evolved from an annual philanthropic event - The Beach Ball - into a year-round campaign of giving to support area charities .
This year, the Beach Ball Board has selected the following charities as the primary beneficiaries; A Child's Haven, Camperdown Academy, Communities in Schools, Greenville County Art Museum - School of Art, Meyer Center for Special Children. There are approximately 26 Secondary Charities that will benefit from Beach Ball 2008.
Now, a premiere regional event, The Beach Ball, offers a number of Sponsorship and Promotional Opportunities, ranging from Private Tables for Ten, Private Tented Suites for Eight,
to Title Sponsor and Product Sampling to this desirable Upscale demographic.
25 of the area's finest restaurants will be serving their culinary specialties. Larkin's on the River, Brown Street Club, P.F.Chang’s, Restaurant “O”, The Westin Poinsett Hotel, Siam Oishi, Giatu at the Marriott and Sticky Fingers,
are a few of the first-rate establishments participating this year.
Guests will enjoy Custom Cocktails created exclusively for the event by;
